What is Chi Kung?

Chi Kung (also known as Qigong), an ancient Chinese practice, is a powerful tool for trauma recovery and overall well-being. By combining mindful movement, controlled breathing, and focused intention, Chi Kung helps to release stored tension and stress from the body. This gentle yet profound practice promotes emotional balance by calming the nervous system and fostering a sense of inner peace. For those recovering from trauma, Chi Kung offers a safe space to reconnect with the body and rebuild a sense of trust and resilience. Beyond trauma recovery, regular Chi Kung practice enhances energy flow, strengthens the immune system, and cultivates mental clarity, leading to a healthier, more centered life.


 

Meditation

 

Learning meditation offers a powerful remedy for a stressed mind by providing a sanctuary of calm amidst the chaos of daily life. Through simple yet effective techniques, meditation trains the mind to focus, quiet the constant chatter, and cultivate inner peace. By regularly practicing meditation, you can reduce anxiety, lower stress levels, and develop a greater sense of clarity and balance. It helps you respond to life's challenges with composure and resilience rather than being overwhelmed by them. Over time, meditation not only alleviates stress but also fosters a deeper connection to yourself, enhancing overall mental and emotional well-being.


 

Chi Kung Classes

Chi Kung and meditation classes are available both in group and one-to-one sessions. Based in Lancing, UK, we offer regular classes locally and also travel to conduct workshops. 


 

On-line Classes

We provide meditation and Chi Kung instruction globally through online classes both in group and bespoke one-to-one sessions. For further information or to book a session, either call or email us. 

Meet James 

James is a highly skilled and dedicated Chi Kung and meditation instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience. His journey has included the privilege of serving as the resident Chi Kung teacher at Source Temple in Brazil for 2 1/2 years, a role that deepened his practice. With a diploma in Chi Kung and more than 30 years of extensive martial arts training, James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his classes.

Passionate about empowering adult students of all ages and abilities, James creates inclusive, supportive, and uplifting learning environments. He shares, “My goal is to help my students enhance their well-being and unlock the transformative power of Chi Kung.”
